With
flexibility and power, comes complexity. This course is targeted for either
an IT professional or a high-level business owner who will create and maintain

This is a one-week (5-day) course
conducted in Birmingham. Whenever possible, ibml recommends that customers
send two employees for SoftTrac Administrator training.
The principle objective of this course is to enhance understanding of the
parameter-driven SoftTrac User Interface. Although the student will
gain exposure to the various elements necessary to build and maintain SoftTrac
jobs, fluency can only be achieved through continued practice. A primary
task as an administrator is to prepare the operator to use the ImageTrac system
by setting up parameters that control the ImageTrac and define SoftTrac jobs
that accommodates various business requirements.
The purpose of the course is not that of company specific implementation,
but to develop a working knowledge of the ImageTrac Control Program and SoftTrac
user interface. Students will be expected to analyze batch examples and develop
parameter files in Parameter Set-Up, and SoftTrac Jobs to run that batch.
Since the Administrator's class has been prepared for the person who has knowledge
of sophisticated computer functions and systems, this class includes advanced
features of the ImageTrac Scanning Platform.
Note that you are asked to bring with you a small to medium sized, 50 to 100 documents, representation of work. If you are working with confidential documents, please bring documents that closely represent documents you scan. Also, bring samples of batch headers and transaction separators that are used in your batches. Our goal is to train class participants, as closly as possible, with their documents in order to make associations between the class environment and the live scanning environment. You may send these documents before your class date, if desired, to the physical address listed
in the Contact Us link; send to the attention of Training Department.
